Think of therapy like caring for a car—sometimes it’s just an oil change for routine maintenance, and other times the whole engine needs attention. Whether you’re tuning on smaller elements of yourself or working through more complex issues, therapy can support your relationship at any stage. A little care now can help prevent bigger breakdowns later.
Our first session is a chance to get to know each other. I’ll ask a few questions about what brings you in, and you’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels right. Then I will begin to ask a lot of questions to get a proper assessment on who you are so we can tailer a great treatment plan for your needs.

Sessions are usually 50 minutes. Most people start with weekly sessions, some bi-weekly, but we’ll discuss what feels supportive and sustainable for you. This is your time—we can adjust the rhythm as your needs shift. Intensive session available upon request.

Yes, confidentiality is essential to building trust. Everything you share is held with care and privacy, with a few legal exceptions related to safety, which we’ll review together in our first session.

That’s an important question—and one we’ll explore together. A good fit feels safe, curious, and gently challenging. If you’re unsure, I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can talk, feel it out, and answer any questions you may have to see if we would be a good fit.

Clients come to me for many reasons—some are working through anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges; others are exploring identity, grief, or boundaries. I have a special focus on trauma, attachment, emotional regulation, and couples therapy. We’ll shape the work around what’s most meaningful to you.

Yes, I have been married almost 8 years now and we are a blended family and have learned so much through the process. No, I am very good at not siding with one person more than the other. I’m very conscious about not allowing bias into therapy. And welcome talking about that topic often if needed to make sure everyone is able to learn and grow together.

Please note that I don’t take insurance and I’m telehealth only.
