Questions About Therapy

My session fee is $150 per session or 90 minute sessions are $225. If you need weekends or evenings I charge $200 per session for $50 min sessions.

I do not take insurance, but I can provide a receipt (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

I also am a provider for Care Credit if you would like to bundle sessions and finance them overtime for a cheaper monthly payment. For more information and to apply click here.

Currently, I ONLY offer online sessions all throughout Nevada. I do not offer in-person
Think of therapy like caring for a car—sometimes it’s just an oil change for routine maintenance, and other times the whole engine needs attention. Whether you’re tuning on smaller elements of yourself or working through more complex issues, therapy can support your relationship at any stage. A little care now can help prevent bigger breakdowns later.
Our first session is a chance to get to know each other. I’ll ask a few questions about what brings you in, and you’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels right. Then I will begin to ask a lot of questions to get a proper assessment on who you are so we can tailer a great treatment plan for your needs.

Sessions are usually 50 minutes. Most people start with weekly sessions, some bi-weekly, but we’ll discuss what feels supportive and sustainable for you. This is your time—we can adjust the rhythm as your needs shift. Intensive session available upon request.

Yes, confidentiality is essential to building trust. Everything you share is held with care and privacy, with a few legal exceptions related to safety, which we’ll review together in our first session.

That’s an important question—and one we’ll explore together. A good fit feels safe, curious, and gently challenging. If you’re unsure, I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can talk, feel it out, and answer any questions you may have to see if we would be a good fit.

Clients come to me for many reasons—some are working through anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges; others are exploring identity, grief, or boundaries. I have a special focus on trauma, attachment, emotional regulation, and couples therapy. We’ll shape the work around what’s most meaningful to you.

Yes, I have been married almost 8 years now and we are a blended family and have learned so much through the process. So I am both educated and I have real life experience with both overcoming obstacles in marriage and working with blended families. For more info about that please read my bio page.

No, I am very good at not siding with one person more than the other. I’m very conscious about not allowing bias into therapy. And welcome talking about that topic often if needed to make sure everyone is able to learn and grow together.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. I then completed a year-long practicum and have since worked in both private and group practice settings as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (MFTI) and Marriage and Family Therapy Associate (AMFT) in both California and Nevada.

Currently, I am both an MFTI and an AMFT with over 4,800 clinical hours, working under the supervision of a licensed professional. I have completed all of my required hours and am simply waiting to take my final exam for full LMFT licensure.

I’ve owned my own private practice in Nevada for over a year and plan to eventually open one in California as well.

EMDR-trained means a therapist has completed EMDR Basic Training through an EMDRIA-approved program and is qualified to use EMDR techniques under consultation or supervision. This includes both classroom instruction and hands-on clinical practice.

EMDR-certified means the therapist has completed all phases of EMDR training plus additional clinical hours, consultation, and case reviews required by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). Certification reflects advanced experience and continuing education in EMDR therapy.

Both EMDR-trained and EMDR-certified clinicians are qualified to provide EMDR therapy, but certification reflects additional depth of experience and continued education.

I am currently trained in EMDR and actively working toward full EMDR certification under EMDRIA-approved consultation.

Please note that I don’t take insurance and I’m telehealth only.
